Youth and Young Families

Who We Are

Rooted in a commitment to meaningful connection – with Judaism, with community, and with one another – Youth & Young Families at the Shaar creates a welcoming framework for children, parents, and families to grow together. From engaging Shabbat and holiday programming to hands-on learning, social gatherings, and community celebrations, our programs are designed to meet families where they are and make synagogue life accessible, relevant, and enriching.

Whether you are raising young children, navigating the early school years, or looking for a warm entry point into synagogue life, our Youth & Young Families community offers a supportive environment where families can build relationships, deepen Jewish values, and create shared experiences that carry meaning well beyond the moment.

This year’s expanded Youth & Young Families programming has been made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Naomi and Sam Fayer, whose vision ensures that our children will always remain a central priority at the Shaar.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact Julia Peress for more information.
