A LEGACY OF FAITH, TRADITION, AND CONNECTION

For generations, Congregation Shaar Hashomayim has been a gathering place for sacred worship, thoughtful leadership, and enduring relationships. Among the oldest and most iconic synagogues in North America, the Shaar continues to nurture Jewish life rooted in tradition, enriched by learning, and sustained by a shared responsibility to the future.

FOR EVERY SIMCHA

Considered the premier venue for weddings, B’nei Mitzvah celebrations, community events, tribute dinners, concerts, lectures, and seminars, we offer a range of different sized banquet halls and meeting rooms from the most intimate to the most lavish.

As new members at the Shaar, it's been an amazing experience for our entire family to be able connect with our Jewish heritage, something that we felt we'd been missing for many years.
