Books & Tea

Our Spring 2026 ‘Books & Tea’ luncheon and book review features The Elements, by John Boyne, reviewed by Linda Shohet.

The Elements is a gripping and profound exploration of guilt, blame, trauma, and human capacity for redemption. Acclaimed Irish novelist John Boyne has created an epic saga that weaves together four interconnected narratives, each representing a different perspective on the enabler, the accomplice, the perpetrator, and the victim.
