A wedding at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim is an unforgettable experience. The beauty of our architecture and the exceptional acoustics of our spaces create a powerful setting for sacred moments, while elegant décor and beautiful music add warmth, meaning, and celebration to each ceremony.
We offer a variety of spaces to meet the needs and vision of every couple. You may choose to celebrate in the grandeur of our Main Sanctuary, the warmth and elegance of our Chapel, or the intimate setting of the Rabbi’s Study.

Music
The musical repertoire that we offer at Shaar Hashomayim is drawn from a wide selection of Jewish wedding music as well as Israeli and liturgical favourites. You will have the opportunity to choose from a large number of beautiful tracks.
As the guests gather for the ceremony, soft music is played to create a mood appropriate for a wedding. The Cantor normally begins the processional by walking down the aisle while singing. All those walking in the processional party are given their special moment in the aisle, accompanied by a unique piece of music.
